NORTHERN SENIOR CENTER TO AVENUE
Class AA 52 mi at 10:00 AM from Northern Senior Center (St. Mary's County)
I don't know what the road conditions will be like. It should be warm enough for a ride, but who knows what will remain on the roads after Friday's snow. I don't ride a trainer, so this is it for me for the weekend. Come out and join me. I will have a trusty bike with only a little over 52,000 miles on it. I will bring a few cue sheets. Time for some fun! https://ridewithgps.com/routes/13194797
Directions: From Waldorf, go 13 miles on Leonardtown Road and MD 5 to Golden Beach Rd. Turn right at Golden Beach Rd and go 0.1 mi. Turn left at Charlotte Hall Rd/Old Route 5 and 0.9 mi to Community Center on the right. [map to start]

3-BUMP CHUMP
Class B+/A workout 35mi mi at 12:00 PM from Manokeek Village Center
We have a friend who is in the NFL, and it's fun to watch Morgan play, but it's still boring to me. Anyone else of a similar mindset, join in on a workout ride along roads that will go up Mill Hill, Bumpy Oak and Barry's Hill, with the addition on Chickamuxen and some extra climbing if the group desires (my routes always wander a bit depending on ride partners.) Usually average about 17-18mph, recover on flats, push some sections, everyone stays together. Yes, we can talk ball if you want! Meet at Manokeek Starbucks parking lot area at Noon.
Directions: From the Washington Beltway (I-95), take Indian Head Hwy Md 210 south towards Indian Head for approximately ten miles, turn left onto Berry Rd Md 228, after a half mile turn right onto Manning Rd and then take the second right into the Manokeek Shopping Village. Park in front of Starbucks. [7053 Berry Rd, Accokeek, MD 20607]

HORSESHOE TT
Class All 10.8 mi at 9:00 AM from Livingston Road Parking Lot for IHRT
For anyone wondering where their fitness level truly is, there's no hiding in a Time Trial. Psych yourself up, and be ready to race the clock and your mind on "The Horseshoe TT." It's a rolling course reminiscent of the Davidsonville TT, with 330ft ascent and 370ft descent, over a fabulous 10.8mi clean road with only 2 turns and generally light traffic. Warm-up on the IHRT or Chicamuxen. The route starts at Bicknell-Rt turn Mason Springs-Rt turn Smallwood Church Rd to Finish at Chicamuxen. Cool down is anywhere. Been doing this route for 2 years and a "not too shabby" time is 30-35mins, so you can expect a 1hr to 2hr ride day. Please text me your name and ride category by Fri Oct 19th so an informal roster/start can be formulated. Stingrays to Cervelo's it's all good, bring what you can roll! Cheers, Michael * Not USAC or USAT sanctioned, but there is a cool perpetual trophy and bragging rights.
Directions: From Beltway Exit 3-A take Md 210 (Indian Head Highway) south for 14 miles to town of Bryans Road. Turn left onto Livingston RoadD/MD-227, after 1.8 miles bear right to stay on Livingston Road/MD-224 for 2.0 miles to the trail parking area on the right. [map to start]

Class CC & Friends 34 mi at 10:00 AM from Bryans Road Shopping Center
Weather will be good enough to ride (at least that's the prediction as of Sunday). Wednesday and Thursday could be impacted by bad weather. So I would like to ride while the opportunity presents itself. This route uses Pisgah Park as a rest stop but also passes the Pisgah store a mile later. Decision can be made at the start as to which rest stop to use. Bring snacks in case we decide on the park and not the store.
