What better way to celebrate July 4th, Independence Day, then by riding your bike to check out some of the various American Civil War Cannons that defended and protected the freedom of our Nation's Capital in a time of war. We will ride to places like the Grant Memorial, Fort Foote, Fort Willard, Fort Ward, Fort CF Smith, Fort Ethan Allen and Fort Stevens where the cannons are located. Obviously, this ride will be a blast! The whole ride should come in the 5 hour range. We will stop along the way for breaks and quick eats at a convenience store. Also I may have some cue sheets for the ride, but best that you download them and print them out from the provided Ride with GPS link here: https://bit.ly/2FFSeqL

You can also check out www.spothero.com for parking availability and discounts on nearby lots. For those traveling by Metrorail, take the Green line and get off at the Gallery Place Chinatown station. Exit the station on 7th St NW and head north 3 blocks to K St NW. Make a right on K St NW and BicycleSPACE is 3 blocks on the right. For directions to the BicycleSPACE, please feel free to call the shop at (202) 962-0123.
