ANOTHER TRY FOR SKYLINE
Class B 54 mi at 9:00 AM from Eastham Park
Skyline is a great place to practice and/or develop climbing skills. From Eastham Park to Elkwallow we will bike 54 miles. We will have lunch at Elkwallow. For those who want to ride out further, they may feel free to do so. This ride is a "no worry" ride because we will have SAG support by my husband Walter. (He just bought a fancy bike rack to carry 4 bikes). AND, he might even bring some treats and snacks along the way--if you RSVP and let him know what you would like to have.

FRIENDSHIP FARM TO MALLOWS BAY
Class C/CC 28 mi at 9:30 AM from Friendship Farm Park
A short, shady and scenic tour of the back roads of Nanjemoy. We'll take Baptist Church and Liverpool Point Rd to Adams Willet and Hancock Run to Smith Point and Riverside to the rest stop at Mallows Bay Park. From there we'll take Sandy Point and Greenleek Hill to MD-6, Poseytown and Bowie back to the park. 28 miles, 1100' of elevation gain. Route map & GPS files are here: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/30603402 and the cue sheet is in the Cloud: http://bit.ly/2SowqFn Faster riders wishing to do a longer version could start from Pisgah Park at 8:30 following the route found here: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/30711227 (Pisgah Park, Friendship Farm & Mallows Bay, 48 miles, 1986' elevation gain) which takes Annapolis Woods, Fire Tower and Durham Church to Friendship Farm Park and then follows the same route as the 28 mile route until it heads back to Pisgah Park via Mason Spring, and a CC leader for that route would be most welcome. Note that (unless the Nanjemoy Store has finally been renovated and re-opened, which I think unlikely) there are no stores on this route so plan accordingly.
Directions: 4705 Friendship Landing Rd, Nanjemoy, MD From Oxon Hill Md head south on MD-210. Turn left on MD-225E/Hawthorne Rd. Turn right on MD-224S/Chicamuxen Rd. CALVERT FAIRGROUNDS P&R TO BOWENS
Class AA 55 mi at 8:30 AM from Calvert Fairgrounds Park and Ride
I hope that the parking lot is clear of stuff. There is a big concert at the Fairgrounds on Saturday. A dearth of rides this weekend. This is late getting listed as I lost the RWGPS file. A new one was created a few moments ago. Come out and keep me company. An early start to miss most of the heat. Other classes welcome, but please bring your own leaders. I know some of you "B" riders can easily keep up on one of my rides. I'm not mentioning names.
