Four couples in the Oxon Hill Bicycle and Trail Club (the Wolfs, Ulrichs, Olsons, and Hudnalls) enjoyed a visit to the Wingate Manor B&B southeast of Cambridge. Leslie had tea and scones ready on their arrival. Afternoon rides worked up hearty appetites for a delicious dinner prepared by Scott and Leslie. Breakfast of omelets with tomato, lox, and onion or waffles with caramelized bananas gave energy for a 50 mile ride to Hooper's Island. We turned around at the end of the road and went back to "Old Salty's" for lunch. It was a humid, hazy day, but still a good ride.
