Routes of 13, 33, 60, 80 and 100 miles through scenic Southern Maryland
Ride for your health and the health of those served by the Civista Medical Center. The event is sponsored by the Civista Health Foundation which raises funds for Civista Medical Center. Proceeds will benefit necessary renovations of the pharmacy which provides critical services to hundreds of patients each and every day.
 
Cycle along the scenic on-road bicycle route of the Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail. Return to the Crossing at Casey Jones Restaurant in La Plata for an after-ride party with food and live entertainment. The pre-registration fee of $30 covers rest stops along the route, SAG support, marked routes, cue sheets and maps and the after-ride party. The first 250 entrants also receive a t-shirt and souvenirs. Riders are encouraged to pre-register to be assured of getting a t-shirt and other ride souvenirs. Day-of-ride registration begins at 7:00 am and is $35.

  • Registration and Tours begin at the Charles County Government Building located at 200 Baltimore Street, La Plata, MD 20646.
  • Please note – you will be instructed to use the entrance from Talbot Street with access from Washington Avenue or 301 North - which will be marked. See map of La Plata.

The 33, 60, 80, and 100 mile routes follow the orange route from La Plata and return to La Plata on the green route.
