The Route Improvement Committee of the Oxon Hill Bicycle & Trail Club promotes bicycling safety with public officials and promotes bikeway development.
| Our vision is a more Bicycle-Friendly Community. To
realize this vision, we are active members of various organizations and have
given public statements to government officials. This Web page is intended
to keep our membership informed and to encourage your participation in
bicycle advocacy issues.
The Southern Prince George's Trails Coalition was established to encourage the expansion of the hiker-biker-equestrian trail system in our area. The coalition consists of civic associations and other groups in Southern Prince George's County.
Bolling Air Force Base Says No to Bike Commuters
Commission 2000 is a 53-member, all-volunteer task force created by the Prince George's County Council to help plan for the future of Prince George's County. Commission 2000 is addressing issues concerning revitalization of older parts of the County, planning for new growth, environmental protection and the ability of the County to provide facilities and infrastructure for new and existing development.
